Behavior Expectations
Campers are expected to:
Treat others with kindness and respect.
Follow instructor directions.
Use art materials safely and responsibly.
Clean up their workspace.
We celebrate creativity, effort, and individuality. Bullying, teasing, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated.
Food & Health
Campers must bring their own nut-free lunch and snacks.
No food sharing is allowed.
Please inform us of allergies or medical needs.
Sick children should remain home.
Personal Belongings
Camp is not responsible for lost or damaged items.
Electronics should remain in backpacks unless approved.
Behavior Support
If behavior concerns arise, we will:
Provide a reminder and redirection.
Speak privately with the camper.
Contact parents if needed.
In rare cases, dismissal may occur if safety is at risk.
Our goal is always to guide and support positive behavior while maintaining a safe environment for all campers.
Detailed Liability & Safety Policies
The following policies are in place to protect the safety and well-being of all campers and staff.
Supervision & Safety
Campers are supervised during all scheduled camp hours.
Campers must remain within designated camp areas at all times.
Staff members are trained to provide age-appropriate instruction and monitor safety during activities.
Parents/guardians must sign campers in and out daily
only otherized personnel will be allowed to pick up campers
Assumption of Risk
Participation in art camp may involve certain inherent risks, including but not limited to:
Use of art tools (scissors, clay tools, paint supplies, hot glue gun, etc.)
Minor cuts, scrapes, or accidental spills
Allergic reactions (if allergens are undisclosed)
By enrolling in camp, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept these inherent risks.
Medical Information & Emergency Care
Parents/guardians must disclose all allergies, medical conditions, and relevant health information prior to camp.
Any required medications must be provided with clear written instructions.
In the event of a medical emergency, staff will contact parents/guardians immediately.
If necessary, emergency medical services will be contacted, and parents/guardians are responsible for any associated costs.
Illness Policy
Campers may not attend camp if they:
Have a fever within 24 hours
Are experiencing vomiting or diarrhea
Have a contagious illness
If a camper becomes ill during camp, parents/guardians will be contacted for immediate pickup.
Release of Liability
The camp, its owners, employees, and volunteers are not liable for:
Injuries resulting from failure to follow instructions
Undisclosed medical conditions
Lost, stolen, or damaged personal property
Behavior & Dismissal Policy
Camp reserves the right to dismiss a camper without refund if:
Behavior poses a safety risk to themselves or others
Repeated violations of the code of conduct occur
Property is intentionally damaged
*All efforts will be made to communicate with parents before dismissal unless immediate removal is required for safety reasons.*
