Ages 7 – 9
In our 7-9 program, kids dive into more complex eco-friendly art projects that encourage teamwork, collaboration, and confidence-building. As they work together on creative tasks, they’ll develop stronger social skills, improve critical thinking, and express their individuality. The program is designed to help kids grow as independent, responsible creators while fostering a deeper understanding of sustainability.

Sprouts Art Camp — full-week, 8 AM– 12 PM, hosted at the Austin Creative Reuse. Choose a week and spend five days on eco-friendly art, hands-on crafts, nature-inspired studios, and group projects. Learn to use sustainable materials, make take-home pieces, and enjoy outdoor play, snacks, and supervised lunch. Small groups, experienced instructors, all materials provided. Bring a refillable water bottle and lunch.

Weekly themes
Each program consists of its own weekly theme. New projects and themes are being added to our curriculum on a regular bases so your child can take a new skill home with each visit!
Hands-on activities
Our activities are designed to keep your child engaged, with a focus on art and sustainability. Each project promotes creativity, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the environment. We also emphasize developing healthy social skills, personal boundaries, and empathy, supporting your child’s growth both creatively and emotionally
Minimizing Waste and Fostering Friendships
At our camp, we teach kids innovative ways to reduce waste through creative projects and sustainable practices. By using upcycled materials and learning about recycling, they discover how small actions can make a big impact on the environment. Alongside these eco-friendly lessons, we also focus on fostering healthy relationships amongst peers, encouraging collaboration, empathy, and respect. Through teamwork and shared creative experiences, kids not only develop a stronger sense of responsibility for the planet but also build lasting friendships and social skills."
